Waninkoko, what are you going to do when 2.6.23 comes out and CK is dead? Are there other performance patches that you are thinking of using?
/me going to miss ck. |

Ah. But maybe something else will come along. Well, hopefully. I don't know how easy it will be to port CK's patchset. |

|
|
I jumped to 2.6.22-kamikaze7 from 2.6.22-kamikaze4 and with the same .config suspend2ram is not working.
My laptop gets stuck and the only thign I see on my screen is something like "Closing tasks" in a terminal.
Is it just me or is anyone experiencing the same issue? _________________ Para entender recursividad primero has de comprender recursividad. |

bugger. If suspend2 isn't going to work on this, I'm going back to CFS V19
Edit: Yay! I'm now an apprentice!
Edit2: Problem confirmed, I'm back to kamikaze-r6. I'm on a core duo. |

Thank you very much! I definitly vote for inclusion in portage-tree and using it as default desktop configuration!

I'm using a core duo as well, and everything work great in this release except the suspend thing.
I hope this is fixed soon and in the next release of kamikaze we include this patch. _________________ Para entender recursividad primero has de comprender recursividad. |

Ingo Mollar just posted a patch for those users with problems to try. Please try the patch below and report back.

Edit: this patch fixes the issue. Can we get it added to kamikaze (8?) please? |

I could not apply the patch but I did the modifications by hand in the file sched.c and it worked. _________________ Para entender recursividad primero has de comprender recursividad. |
