there's a program in windows that allow to limit the upload and download of each application running, it's name is netlimiter, is there such a program in linux?

No, there's no GUI.
It's in Portage, but it's masked.
I played with it a little bit after I posted my original reply - it works.
The way the Linux kernel handles networking, it's unlikely that you're going to find a userspace program which will work the way you're used to using Netlimiter. Such an application would almost certainly require a kernel patch.
If you do find something, let me know. I'd like to see what they did. |
