|
|
Hello.
Im trying to do a remote install from my brothers comp at my patens house to on of my own comps at my place.
Now the problem is that my brothers comp lost the connection during a putty ssh session, and when i try to login again i just get a new session and I cant see how the old is progressing (was compiling the kernel).
Thanks in advance.
EDIT. It might take a while before I reply, so have a little patience...

run the programm "screen" before you install remotely.
after you can atach the session with screen -x. If you loose your connection you can reatach the sesseion with screen -x
