I think the new style is just about perfect. Of course having kids at LSU has nothing to do with my love for the color purple.

The new purple is great! It was a bit of a surprise when I suddenly checked in, but it is.. ...cool.
Anyhow, what I desire is smaller fonts. And that black bar below the logo could be even smaller. The quick search function is very handy.

I like the new look, but don't make the fonts smaller. Leave that to the browser, don't be nazi and force the browser to a certain size, not all people use 640x480 Smaller fonts would look ugly on my 1600x1200 resolution.

I like it as well. Could linux be added in the same font? If so, put it side-by-side next to the pink gentoo, then increase the font size. The current "banner" only mentions gentoo linux.

| The new arrangement for options is good, using a toolbar. Especially good is putting up the Quick Search at the top. But I prefer the older colors. Personal choice would be nice, if the server could handle the extra work. |

You can change back to the old style if you like it better by going to your Profile and changing the Board Style field. This of course wouldn't change the current colors, but the style as a whole, back to the original.

I like it a lot more than the old theme. But, as everything in life, can be better =)
About the purple text, that's the way to go imo. Purplr is one of the main colours in gentoo, so I think it sould be the main color on the gentoo websites.

Hehe. Well... I was assuming it would be something to contact him about. In the end, I think it would be nice if gentoo.org and forums.gentoo could have a very similar looking header. If drobbins doesn't like the new forums image header, perhaps he'll compromise somehow (or supply a new image for both  ).

| It looks great and a lot better! I like the header, but very small issue is that there has small white bar above of the header in Opera 6.11. There's no white bar in Phoenix/Mozilla, but Opera. Perhaps, you should take the look in the Opera too. |
