hi. i use portsentry and iptables.
is it possible to block host that sends me echo request?
i don't mean to block ping with Code: | iptables -A INPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -j DROP |

You'll have to use the userspace iptables utilities so you can watch for pings and then run something to add a rule to iptables.
Cumbersome, and not quiet trivial. _________________ >>> emerge (3 of 7) mcse/70-293 to /
