hi. i use portsentry and iptables.
is it possible to block host that sends me echo request? :twisted:

i don't mean to block ping with

iptables -A INPUT -p icmp --icmp-type echo-request -j DROP

You'll have to use the userspace iptables utilities so you can watch for pings and then run something to add a rule to iptables.
Cumbersome, and not quiet trivial.
