|

Hello,
I was looking around for a complete suite for
handling a public library, and I found a couple of interesting
links:
http://www.koha.org/
http://open-ils.org/
Is there anybody that has experience with similar systems?
I was thinking about a relatively small public library that is provided
with a very old ISIS database.
Koha has a custom database and partial support for MARC,
is it ok or a solution with an external database like MySQL
or PostgreSQL is better?
About the latter two, what would you suggest, MySQL or PostgreSQL?
I read that MySQL can have problems with
data integritiy; anyone knows more about it ?
Best Regards

Well, rongten is my nick name, but Rai is
related to my real identity.
It is true that I do not post so much, and mostly mine
are boring posts, but compliments for catching the hint. _________________ Nothing is ever easy
