Is there any particular reason why ccache would not be used, even if it is enabled?
Code: | adbowers@hotbbq ~ $ ccache -s
cache hit 0
cache miss 0
files in cache 0
cache size 0 Kbytes
max cache size 976.6 Mbytes

If I run emerge from a user it does not work..
Running from root activates ccache..
run the command ccache -s from root...... _________________ Aerosolo ergo sum - I spray therefore I am

Hi.
It might be because you have forgotten to initialize it with something like
#ccache -M 2G
(or whatever size you prefer)

Man, I'm an idiot. Was checking as a user. Read my signature. _________________ "If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." -- James Madison |
