Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding the gui installation, so I hope it's ok to post in this thread.
If I emerge kde, how can I skip packages? I dont want to install all kde packages, e.g. kde-pim.

Go post your question in the Desktop Environments forum. This forum is only for questions about installing Gentoo itself. |

Yes but please follow the handbook there, because you have to configure some things. Click on gentoo desktop documentation resources and than the x server configuration howto. |
