Hi,

I have a strange problem with my colors in urxvt [1].
I'm using a .Xdefaults [2] file from somewhere around these forums and all of the colors are redefined. Everything looks very good except the red color which stays the same no matter what I write into my .Xdefaults. You can have a look at this screenshot.
I guess it has to be a problem with urxvt because i can change all the other colors in aterm and xterm. Does someone have a solution for this or did someone experience this problem too?

Thanks!

I have the *exact* same problem. The red color is way too dark and completely unreadable. Changing ~/.Xdefaults doesn't help at all.

For reference, the color portion of my .Xdefaults file:

Code:
*color0:    Black
*color1:    Red3
*color2:    Green3
*color3:    Yellow3
*color4:    Blue3
*color5:    Magenta3
*color6:    Cyan3
*color7:    AntiqueWhite
*color8:    Grey25
*color10:      Green
*color11:      Yellow
*color12:      Blue
*color13:      Magenta
*color14:      Cyan
*color15:      White
