try running opengl-update with the apropriate argument (your GLdriver)
example for nvidia-cards with nvidia-glx
Code: | opengl-update nvidia |
hth

Are you running amd64? If so, make sure you are *not* running the 2005.0 profile and don't use any version of nvidia-glx > 6629-r2 _________________ Ex-Gentoo Developer

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib32/opengl/nvidia/lib
or wherever your opengl lib is. No certainity this will work. |

Okay I will try this.
I test it:
Code: | export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/opengl/ati/lib/ |
But the same result:
Code: |
----- R_Init -----
...loading libGL.so.1: QGL_Init: dlopen libGL.so.1 failed: libGL.so.1: cannot openshared object file: No such file or directory
failed
----- CL_Shutdown -----
RE_Shutdown( 1 )
-----------------------
----- CL_Shutdown -----
-----------------------
Sys_Error: GLimp_Init() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

My suggestion is for you to go back to nvidia-glx-1.0.6629-r1 and then to file a bug about enemy-territory and assign it to amd64@gentoo.org with games@gentoo.org on the CC list. _________________ Ex-Gentoo Developer

Dunno about ati things but that looks like a 64 directory when et is 32 bit and needs some form of 32 bit emulation on your system. |
