IP over FireWire. How?!

Hi,

I' mery interested to have my computers connected with FireWire. I've compiled my kernel with FireWire support (ieee1394.o) and ethernet over firewire(ether1394.o).

Now what should i do?

I've tried to look for eth1 and even for eth1394 interfaces, but no luck :(

Does anyone has expirience in seting up firewire network?

If you have digital camera and need to transder file to PC, you need to download the "dvgrab" software (look for it in http://freshmeat.net).
"dvgrab" is not in portage yet.
