It was so easy to find out my IP.
I´m using a Router and i´ve looked there what my IP Address is.
This was a really newbie mistake.
thank for replies and ideas. _________________ Happy Feeling with Gentoo

There are several websites that "reflect" the public IP address with which you contact them. One of them is this: https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Uhm, you need a browser, but if you only have a character interface, you might try with Links or Lynx. It should work fine. _________________ In God we trust. All the others must provide a valid X.509 certificate |

I haven't used Links in a while, anyway:
As far as I remember, pressing "G" you will be prompted for the URL you want to visit. After that, it's exactly like using a normal browser _________________ In God we trust. All the others must provide a valid X.509 certificate |

You could try using one of the dyndns console clients available. Two available in portage are ddclient and dyndnsupdate, each of which comes with an init script. If you set up their configuration files appropriately, and then add it to your default runlevel with rc-update, you won't have to remember to update your account manually in the future or while you're away from the house. _________________ s/(?<!gnu\/)linux(?! kernel)/GNU\/Linux/gi
Don't blame me. I didn't vote for him.
