Hello, I am on step 8.c of the install guide, and, evidently, the 'passwd' script is not on my machine. When I type 'passwd' at the prompt, I receive:

bash: passwd: command not found

I have tried emerging it, and I had no luck with that, either. I also noticed that some other common commands, such as 'more' were in the same situation. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Thanks!

Does the actual file itself exist in /bin/passwd?

If so, can you run it by entering the full path to the file?
Code:
machine# /bin/passwd

Ummm....I feel kinda stupid now....I just assumed /bin/ was in the classpath. /bin/passwd worked. Thanks again!
