I've been using VNC happily since v3.3. Now on two different machines I see that VNC 4.0 r1 hasn't installed properly - vncserver is installed in /usr/local/bin/vnc_x86_linux_2.0/vncserver but not /usr/bin.

I tried re-emerging, but to no avail. My short-term workaround is to add /usr/local/bin/vnc_x86_linux_2.0/vncserver to the PATH (by modifying /etc/profile) and then:

Code:
sudo ln /usr/local/bin/vnc_x86_linux_2.0/vncserver /usr/bin/vncserver

Maybe the VNC ebuild is broken in 4.0-r1? It worked fine in previous releases.

What is wrong with a simple symlink ?
That's quite probably all the ebuild failed to do...
