|
|
I used to have a fetchmail => exim => courier-imap setup on Debian that I now want to migrate to a fetchmail => qmail => courier-imap setup on Gentoo. So I followed the guide in the Gentoo docs and then basically copied over my old Debian fetchmail config, so far so good.
When I send mails to myself everything works perfectly, but I'd also like to import all my old mails that were also stored in a maildir on my old Debian system, I tried just copying the maildir to ~/maildir (username is the same on the Debian and the Gentoo boxes in case it matters), but that doesn't seem to cut it.
I've been googling all night and I'm getting a bit desparate...
Any help on this wouuld be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
tBD
[EDIT]I just found another problem, I said mails I send to my regular email address arrive, but when I try to delete them in Thunderbird I get the error:
Quote: | The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: [TRYCREATE] Mailbox does not exist.. | _________________ Fvwm|Fvwm forum |

Allright, I managed to solve the second problem by rebooting the server, still don't have any clue on the first one though... _________________ Fvwm|Fvwm forum |
