I'm getting
Warning: unable to open an initial console.
kernel panic - not syncing: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.
This is the first boot after installation. What init= option am I supposed to
give to the kernel and how is this done? |

Check your grub.conf or lilo.conf and see if the file specified on the initrd line actually exists. If it does not exist, you'll probably want to create it with mkinitrd. _________________ The free market gave me gonorrhea. |
