|
|
Hello,
I'm new to gentoo and linux in general. Forgive me if I pose silly questions.
I'm following the instructions in the Gentoo Linux x86 Handbook step by step.
While bootstrapping from stage 1 to stage 2 an ftp server seems unreachable because I get a 404: not found error.
I tried several times but I always get the same error, not always on the same ftp server though.
Am I doing something wrong ?
I used mirrorselect to update /etc/make.conf, I don't know if that can have anything to do with it.
Thanks
