Hallo,

bei mir wird in letzter Zeit emerge <einPaket> immer unerfolgreich ausgeführt. Ich frage mich was dafür der Grund ist. Hier sind Beispiele:

Soll ich vielleicht welche (lib, gcc) Pakete neuinstallieren ? Emerge ist wie gesagt bei sehr vielen Paketen fehlerhaft, alle habe ich nicht mehr im Kopf, bei denen es gescheitert hat. Was kann denn die Ursache dafür sein ?

Ich habe das Problem auch gehabt. Bei mir hat geholfen:

CC=gcc CXX=g++ emerge ..


Oder permanente Lösung durch 2 zusätzliche Statements in /etc/make.conf:

leider hat das alles nicht geholfen :(

heute wollte ich bei mir den Portage Overlay von www.gentoo.de einrichten, kann aber gentoolkit-dev nicht mergen :( Bereits beim emerge von ihm geforderten Paket dev-util/dialog-1.0.20040731 wird unterbrochen:

Hatt ich auch. Hat was mit unicode use flag zu tun. Wahrscheinlich ist eine alte Version von ncurses mit unicode compiliert und beim letzten emerge wuerde dann die unicode flag nicht verwendet (weil nicht mehr da :) )

Loesung fuer mich war:

insert unicode in /etc/make.conf (USE Flags).

ln - s /usr/lib/libncurses.so /usr/lib/libncursesw.so
emerge ncurses


Wenn fertig funktioniert auch wieder alles.
