|
|
I am attemping to get a Linksys WUSB11 ver2.5 (usb adapter) to work under linux.
Both linux-wlan-ng and ndiswrapper are running, it would find the adapter and almost let me bring it up as wlan0 but gave me this error: SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such device
when I tried again this morning dmesg gave me this after starting ndiswrapper and plugging in the wireless adapter:
Code: |
ndiswrapper version 0.12 loaded (preempt=yes,smp=yes)
usbcore: registered new driver lswlusb
ndiswrapper: driver lswlusb (Linksys,05/28/2002,2.0.2.36) added

and "ifconfig wlan0 up" now gives:

I have probably not alot of help, mostly because I use a pci wireless WG311 b/g card. Have you tried Madwifi? It works for my card, (however, not modprobing in my new 2.6.10 kernel yet.) I have never used ndiswrapper though, so I may be mistaken. Just was looking to help an unaswered post
[Edit: My card works awesome now...] _________________ Carry out the bigger will for your life.... |
