Hello everyone.
As the subject line says, I am only able to see B&W on my tv-out. Here is my xorg.conf file:

------ BEG OF RELEVANT SECTION OF XORG.CONF -----
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Sharp TV"
HorizSync 30-50
VertRefresh 60
EndSection

Section "Device"
Identifier "GeoForce4 MX 440"
Driver "nvidia"
VideoRam 65536
Option "RenderAccel" "1"
Option "TVStandard" "NTSC-M"
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "TV"
Option "TVOutFormat" "SVIDEO"
Option "TVOverScan" "0.6"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Screen 1"
Device "GeoForce4 MX 440"
Monitor "Sharp TV"
DefaultDepth 24

Subsection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "640x480" "400x300" "320x240"
ViewPort 0 0
EndSubsection
EndSection
----------- END OF RELEVANT CONF FILE ------------

I am using a simple S-VIDEO to Composite converter to connect
to my TV which only accepts Composite.

Any help is appreciated.
Many thank,
Ali.

I found this too - it is to do with the wiring of the connector from the video card to the tv.

Using the yellow adapter that came with the card (din plug to rca) i could only get b&w.

I made a scart lead up
(http://www.weethet.nl/english/video_connect_pc2tv.php)
and as when my tv is put in s-video mode i get a beautiful picture.

Robin

Robin,
My TV accepts Composite, so what would be the wiring for that? I can't find that on that site.
Thanks,
Ali.
