Ok, so I just got an ATI X300. I am walking through the HOWTO on ATI driver setup, but I think something is not going to be correct here. The kernel config mentions adding agpart support and then running the fglrxinfo command to set things up. Is this the correct method to follow for setting up a PCI-Express card? |

I'm not sure, but it probably doesn't matter much how your AGP options are configured with a PCI-E card. I think PCI-E support is a separate option anyway, isn't it? Other than that, the rest of the install process should be pretty much identical to that for an AGP card. _________________ Per Ardua Ad Astra
