#standard VGA Device:
Section "Device"
Identifier ""standard vga"
........
........
Chipset "quale?"
Driver "quale1?"
EndSection
#===ATI device section===
Section "Device"
Identifier "ATI Graphics Adapter"
Driver "fglrx"

.....
.....
......
erano solo identifier e driver e andava,

Open APM failed (/dev/apm_bios) (no such file or directory)
fglrx: No matching Device section for instance (BusID PCI:1:0:0) found
No devices detected

cosa devo fare?

Power management options (ACPI, APM) --->

Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list!

Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/, removing from list!
Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list!

e la parte relativa alle varie:

drmOpenDevice:
drmOpenByBusid:

(WW) fglrx(0): could not detect XFree86 version (query_status=-3)

cosa posso fare x risolvere questi problemi?

RISOLTO:
HO PENSATO:visto che xorg.conf genarato da Xorgconfig andava prendo quello come "base " e ci aggiungo solo i dati relativi a device Section
.driver :ati tecnology.."
passo 1.
compilare Xorg.config -> xorg.conf
inserisci i dati piu corretti possibili.
passo 2
compilare fglrxconfig -> XF86config-4
attivando external agpgart
passo 3
confrontare i file;
preciso:MODIFICARE xorg.conf NON XF86..

disattivare useinternalagpgart
end section
parte relativa a screen
si noti per xorg
identifier "screen1"(quello uscito da xorg.conf)
device "ATI Graphic..."
a me va.
IN PRATICA IL PROBLEMA DOVREBBE ESSERE LA GESTIONE DIVERSA DEI DATI RELATIVI A DEVICE MONITOR --- DEVICE SCREEN TRA X.ORG ED XFREE86.
