Hi everyone, I've just finished setting up KDE and got it working. I just have one problem so far, whenever I try to run anything that is OPENGL it kicks me back out to the login screen. I've tried to run glxgears, glxinfo, any of the opengl screensavers and the same thing always happens. I'm at a loss, please help!! Thanks
Oh yeah, I am using Xorg 6.8 with the newest ATI drivers, my card is the ATI Radeon 9200 Mobility, and I'm using the 2.4.28-gentoo-r5 kernel. If more information is needed please let me know! |

Well I'm not sure about your problem with KDE, but I was having the exact same problem with Gnome. It all started when I installed Foobillard. What fixed it for me was to update glib, pango and gtk+. I also unmerged foobillard |

I had the same problem. It's caused by a wrong symlink.
Code: | ln -sf /usr/lib/opengl/nvidia/extensions/libglx.so /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libglx.a |
Should fix this. |
