Hi,
seems like I've got a problem starting KDE since I upgraded to 3.3.2: when pushing the login-button in kdm the X server restarts and I'm back at the kdm login screen.
But: this problem occurs only with my normal user. Other users (no kde config so far) have no problems logging in with kdm. And: when my user does not login with kdm but logs in at console and types startx KDE starts as it should.
In other words: there must be a difference in the startup process of KDE between console-login-startx and kdm-login, considering the user configuration files in the user's home dir. |

Hi
Before you login as a user select the right session type under menu in
kdm.
You have uppgraded and it points to the old one that is gone.
