error while emerge smb4k

i get this error when emerge smb4k


libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.la'

i found the file in

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.5/libstdc++.la

but not sure why it is asking for the file in the other place cuz i don't even have a dir called i386* in /usr/lib/gcc-lib
