From time to time when I paste some text with the middle-mouse button into a xterm it is executed immediately. I find this very annoying. I couldnt determine whether there is a pattern or not. Is there a way to turn off this behaviour. |

To avoid this, I make sure not to copy the new line character, start selecting text from the end of the line, and don't select it by double or triple clicking the line. _________________ python>>> q="'";s='q="%c";s=%c%s%c;print s%%(q,q,s,q)';print s%(q,q,s,q)

OK, i'll try the same if that is the reason for it. Still if anyone knows how to turn it off completely I would be glad to hear it. |
