I have just finished a 2.6.10-hardened-r3 with SElinux (permissive mode) install. I am building a router and have two eth connections. Eth0 is set up for static IP and it comes up after boot just fine. Eth1 is set for dhcp and fails at boot. I ran "dmesg | grep -i eth | less" to find a bunch of denial messages ("avc: denied {...} ...). I am a newb wrt linux and selinux so I need some help getting the network up. I am running policy 16 if that helps. I can't post the actual dmesg output unless I reboot using the Live CD, chroot and all that jazz ( I am posting on different machine). Help! _________________ I am a lightning rod for the forces of chaos. |
