I got this small EPIA box, freshly installed.
I had to install it networkless because I couldn't fix the network on it, but I wanna make it work.. :/
anyway, there are 3 network cards onboard, eth0-2 and an extra PCI one (eth3)
if I try to normaly just configure eth0 to 192.168.0.1 and connect using a cross cable to my windows box (192.168.0.2), I'll get Desination Host Unreachable from the linux box, and timeout from the windows
I configured all of them eth0-3 = 192.168.0.3 - 6
when I connect it to my windows box, and run 4 diffirent pings, and switched the cable from all of the connectors while watching the ping windows
when I connect it to eth3 which is 192.168.0.6, I'm getting a ping response from eth0 and eth2, and if I connect it to eth2 I'm getting a ping response from eth1 and eth3.
if when it's connected to eth3, I try to stop any of the other ethx it dies and I can't ping anything.
what the hell is going on? |

Did you update to the newest bios? I know there were some problems on older boards with networking under linux, at least one of my colleagues had such problems.
PS: Which EPIA board has 3 network ports ? |
