Hi all,
I'm trying to do a backup of my .maildir, and I'm getting errors such as:

mkstemp "/d-drive/BhomeBackups/.maildir/.Clubs/cur/.1107494424.M324558P1609V0000000000000306I002D0A8C_1850.bhome,S=26519:2,RS.Nghe7Y" failed: Invalid argument

when running the rsync command:

rsync -rLptgouD /home/bhogg/.maildir/ blaptop:/d-drive/BhomeBackups/maildir/
|
rsync commands with the same flags work otherwise, so I'm guessing it has something to do with the long cryptic file names. Any ideas?
The maildir isn't that large, and it's only for a single user, so there won't be any "building file list" errors.

Hi,
Nope, you are right.... I didn't even think to check since the 255 character limit wasn't exceeded, but things like commas would definitely mess it up.
Now to get the firewall working right... dlink seems to be intermittently rejecting http/imap requests.
