I've been trying to replace my static web content with some kinda nice website software that I can add articles to much easier than writing html. I've tried xoops, mambo, nucleus, and webgui. I've had different problems with all of them.
Anyone have any more suggestions on what I can try? I would love to see some of your sites as examples too, please post a link.

Have you tried drupal or geeklog
Both sites have links to various sites using the respective systems for content management...

If you're just looking to post articles for you personally and do a bit of blogging Wordpress is dead simple, pretty nice looking once you dig in the css a bit, and is in portage.

Thanks all. I installed drupal last night and it is nice. Finally something I can work with!  It was easy and the stuff works, except the banner. 
But that wordpress looks really nice as well. I may give it a test drive too. Here's the work in progress. http://www.tuxmachines.org

For simple stuff, you might also want to try Blosxom, which is fast and highly configurable. Plus, there is a lovely small gnome program called gnome-blosxom, which allows you to write your new content without distractions. However, if you have more users writing content for your site, Drupal or Wordpress is probably much better.
