Well, I've found a window manager that deserves some recognition: Kahakai
Sadly, not too many other people agree with me. I can't find any themes, documentain or otherwise help files on it, but the funny thing is, I really don't need it. I figured out how to edit some of the settings via text file in a matter of seconds. That's how simple this WM is to configure. I don't know how many of you have given this WM a look see, but I'd appreciate my fellow minimalists giving it a look see. It's good enough for my rich tastes, yet at the same time, it satisfies my evil minimalistic side...
:p
Anyway, the purpose of this post is for me to declare the following:
While some of the aspects of the kahakai confguration may be simple, it would stand to benefit the kahakai project as well as the general user base if proper documentation was in fact available. I will do my best to create some suable docs that will make kahakai configs even more painless...

Maybe I'm dreaming but hasn't kahakai been discontinued? _________________ It isn't enough to win - everyone else must lose, and you also have to rub it in their face (maybe chop off an arm too for good measure).

Yea it has been, they are rewritting another wm which should be similar, from scratch.
It is a great window manager though, I used it for a little while and it's very nice _________________ The God idea is growing more impersonal and nebulous in proportion as the human mind is learning to understand natural phenomena and in the degree that science progressively correlates human and social events. -- Emma Goldman |

Welp. Changed my mind...
Fluxbox is kahakai with ballz. No reason to further the cause of a dead project when things that work exactly the same (kahakai is a reworking of blackbox) exist. _________________ CPU: 3800+ X2 (2.5Ghz)
