Well, emerge worked (after the ~x86) etc. But, it didn't upgrade my 3.0.4, it just put it next to 3.0.4. And I can't select it from (3.0.4) KDM. How do I get it there and how do I get rid of my 3.0.4 packages and make the rc6 available?
Here's what I did:
| Code: | emerge kdebase kdemultimedia

That emerged arts, kde base, kde libs and kdemultimedia. All rc6. Those were also the only 3.0.4 packages installed. I guess I should've done emerge -u but if I do know it says

So how do I go and upgrade from 3.0.4 to my already emerged 3.1rc6?[/code] |

Time to put a lock on this topic; I had logged out again and this time, it DID show kde_3.1_rc6 in KDM. 
Oh well...  Sorry, for the time-wastage... |
