I read on another thread that wine will not currently work with a 2.6.10 kernel. Is this true? Is there any way to get it to work? If there isn't, does anyone know how to find out if/when it might work? Anyone have any other information that might prove useful? |

Here is the thread
https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=284475&highlight=wine
So I get it installed fine. Then I keep getting the following error:
Code: | wine /mnt/cdrom/setup.exe
Please use the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\Software\Fonts\LogPixels
to set the screen resolution and remove the "Resolution" entry in the config file
|
In particular I am trying to install diablo 2. It keeps asking for the install disk which I have in the drive. When I hit cancel it says there is no start menu. Any ideas how to get this installed? Or any other program that I would install from a cdrom? |
