Hi all!
I started a bash script in a xterm that will run very very long. I would like to pass this process to a "real" terminal (STRG+ALT+F#) so that it goes on even if the x server crashes. how would I do that? I tried stopping it with CTRL-Z and than "fg" it in the other console but its not seen there. what do I need to do? |

Use screen. Google for "screen tutorial" to see how to use it. |
