2 questions about neverwinter nights platinum

hi everybody,
just bought neverwinter nights platinum the other day, and got it installed and running via the following shell script (after a couple little changes):

but i've got two important questions: first, at the very end, the script tries to move a bunch of modules and stuff from the directory NWN_PLATINUM down one level into the main nwn directory. NWN_PLATINUM does not exist, nor do the things it's trying to move, as far as i can tell. Does anybody know how to fix this, and possibly where to find the things it's looking for?

and second, the fonts in the game only show up if i run the game as root. I assume there's a simple permission i need to change or something, but can somebody let me know what that is?

did you run ./fixinstall in the base nwn directory? This should check all permissions and fix them (if it can...)

well, the script runs ./fixinstall at the end, but i ran it manually just to be safe...
same problem. anybody have any other ideas? especially about the NWN_PLATINUM directory?

i have another question now, fellows...

i've reached the end of chapter one, and upon talking to aribeth she says to depart to the ritual room at once. I say okay... and nothing happens (well, i lose and regain Tomi Undergallows' henchman contract). I assume that it's supposed to go to chapter two, or something... but nothing. maybe i'm missing something in the install? maybe this has something to do with the minor install errors i got (see above)?
