Protocol not supported, smb in konqueror.

When i type some smb link in konqueror adress bar and hit enter, it show me this:

I think the Samba (client) bit needs to be cofigured first. There is a Samba config tool in the Kconfig menus.

To be using smb implies you are sharing files and/or printers on a network.

My samba is working corectly. I browse my share from other computers. And i brows other computers shares with appz as smb4k, smbclient, links. Only konqueror not working.

this seems to be problem with smb protocol not compilled into konqueror. look for the smb rpotocol in the konquerror settings in the Previews & Metadata panel. If there is no smb protocol listed in the internet protocol you have to probably recompile with samba flag in your USE variables

well that's the next problem i would see.
how to reemerge konqueror (when you don't want to use the 3.4.0 beta 2 unstable release) ?
i don't want to reemerge kde unless it's the only way to "update" konqueror...
any suggestions ?

konqueror is the part of kdebase which is one of the biggest packages of KDE. anyway when you recompile it you should be ok
