Hallo,
habe von pcmcia-cs auf pcmciautils umgestellt, nun startet eth1 nicht gewohnt beim Hochfahren.
eth1 ist eine WLAN-Karte die in einem PCMCIA-Slot steckt. Wenn ich, nachdem KDE gestartet ist, die Karte herausziehe und wieder einschiebe funktioniert alles wie gewohnt, d. h. eth1 wird gestartet und holt sich die Konfiguration via DHCP.
Habe ich irgendetwas vergessen zu konfigurieren?

| Der pcmcia-service muss beim Booten auf jeden Fall vor ifplugd starten, das Problem hatt ich in etwas anderer Form auch mal. |

ähm pcmciautils hat soweit ich weis keinen daemon/service, der gestartet werden müsste. Das ganze läuft über udev/hotplug

War auch nur ein Schuss ins Blaue aus einer Erfahrung mit pcmcia-cs, hab mit pcmciautils noch nichts gemacht.
Steht vielleicht was in den Logfiles (/var/log/messages)? Braucht die WLAN-Karte Firmware? |

An dem Startskript liegt es wahrscheinlich nicht, habe es mit rc-update entfernt und es lief trotzdem alles (bis auf das bekannte Problem).
ifplugstatus gibt direkt nach dem Start folgendes aus (Karte von Anfang an eingesteckt):

eth0: unplugged
lo: link beat detected
cipsec0: unplugged
eth1: unplugged
wifi0: unplugged |
Und nachdem ich die Karte entferne und wieder reinschiebe das:

eth1: link beat detected

| Die Unterstützung dafür wird in nächster Zeit aus dem Kernel fliegen. Naja, vielleicht funzen die pcmciautils bis dahin besser. |
