...now I am on the "Finalizing your installation" section and it asks me to mount my cdrom so I can get some portage settings off of the Packages CD. Well, when I try to mount my CDROM, it spins up and then returns an error saying there is no "/mnt/cdrom" present. Any ideas on what is wrong here? FSTAB - /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,ro,user 0 0

in fstab the cd rom should be set to
/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom auto noauto,user 0 0
incase the fileformat on the cd is different to iso9660
and check you have a cd in the drive don't think you can mount and empty cd drive _________________ Man, I thought Ultimate Robot Fighting was real, like pro wrestling, but it turns out it's fixed, like boxing. |
