thanks. A long while back (last november...) i was doing an etc-update and i accidently lost my network configuration. I'm assuming that it was wiped out or overwritten through etc-update, b/c when i got back to xwindows, i had no internet connection.
also...my logins have had problems...i would do an 'su' and it says the password is invalid when i KNOW i'm typing in the right password. So i just restart and it works fine with the passwords...but after a while it stops working again... |

how did u recover your internet connection after losing it after etc-update, i have got the same prob...? _________________ Main:
