i keep getting 'network: unreachable" errors when i try to ping anything.
my nic is set up properly and shows up in ifconfig...
it will ping my router fine..but if i try to ping a website, like yahoo.com...it says "network: unreachable"
any help is appreciated...thank you. |

You don't have a gateway set; run
to check, then edit /etc/conf.d/net to something like this:
Code: | gateway="eth0/a.b.c.d"

fixed! thanks. weird..i had removed that from the conf.d/net and seemed to helped the net connection to work...but not with the internet....but i added it back...and now it works..cool..thanks! |
