Ich suche ein Software wie Sun Control Station 2.0. Es muss auf Gentoo laufen und wenn es geht kostenlos sein.

Ja kenn ich.
Ist das kostenlos? Ist es auch in der Portage?
Leuft es überhaupt mit Gentoo, steht immer nur von Red Hat und Suse?

wieso suchst du es nicht selber? Oder kennst du den Link http://packages.gentoo.org denn nicht? Und wenn da nur RedHAT oder SuSE steht, dann wird`s wohl nur mit denen gehen.
edit: aus der SUN seite verstehe ich es so, dass es nicht kostenlos ist. Und verstehe auch nicht, wozu du das brauchst.

Gentoo ist wohl nicht dabei, also wird`s nicht gehen.

Automatisiertes Server-Deployment, automatisiertes Einspielen von Patches. Alles was den Arbeitsalltag eines Admin einfacher macht. |

Das habe ich auch gelsen, aber ich schieße jetzt auch eine Vermutung (Sorry dave) aber nach allen Posts von dave, wo man sieht, dass es mit der Einrcihtung seines Desktop PCs total überfordert war, glaube ich nicht, dass er einen Server betreibt. Deshalb war meine Frage, wozu er das braucht, denn für Gentoo als Desktop PC finde ich ein solches Programm übertriebend.
