metacity 2.8.6-r1 patch failures...

Hi,

I was updating my AMD64 laptop and was doing a emerge -u world and when it got to x11-wm/metacity-2.8.6-r1, I got:

PATCH COMMAND: patch -p0 -g0 < /usr/portage/x11-wm/metacity/files/metacity-2-logout.patch

patch unexpectedly ends in middle of line
patch: **** Only garbage was found in the patch input.


Has anyone else seen this? I searched the bug list and forums and didn't see anyhing. Can anyone suggest where to start?
