|
|
Hi.
I installed Gentoo from the live CD 2004.3, stage3 install a few months ago after using Mandrake for several years.
My Mdk / partition was always 4G, and was never in danger of filling up. My new, 8G gentoo / partition is nearly full.
How can I get some space back here?
I've already "qpkg -I -v | grep kde | grep -v 3.3" and unmerged all the kde3.2 stuff.
Can I safely delete everything in /var/tmp/portage? 1.1G there.
Is there anywhere else I can safely and regularly delete stuff?
thanks,

and you can remove everything you want in /usr/portage/distfiles
(if you need something to recompile you can leave it, or if you delet it it will be downloaded again) |
