I've got an opertunity to "maybe" upgrade my card.
I currently have an MSI nVidia GeForce FX5700 256mb DDR video card. Running both my monitors and occasionaly playing ET, Doom3 and ArmyOps. This card is going into a computer I am building for a family member, so I need to place an order for it's replacement tonight.
I found an AOpen nVidia GeForce PSX5750 128mb DDR card for a good price. I see that it's cpu speed is quite a bit faster, and the ram speed is double the speed of the FX5700.
Guess I'm asking is the faster cpu/ram speed worth half the memory?
Cheers all,

That said, I think you'll be more than fine with the new card. I don't think many games utilize all 256mb of memmory. |
