Its simple: got a Linux router, serving 20 hosts on the subnet and I want to guarantee that people will get their portition of bandwidth. ie. if a host is downloading and using all the available bandwitdh, obviously the others dont want to experience big slowdowns. I want equal portition of bandwith available for each host. What solutions are there for me? Ive heard of QOS, does it do what I need?
