I saw that wvdial is missing from live cd since it is very basic dialup util.
many ppl like me will it in live cd.
is there any perticlur reason for skipping it.
many be i should change my ISP.
i had a huge problem with this while installing gentoo.
i had to boot my system with knoppix & download these (old) bineries from net.
& then i was able to proceed with my installing process.
is there any problem with wvdial. maybe i should unmerge it.  |

Is good question. Im trying to loadup Gentoo also just to get familiar before I order the CDs for 2005. Seems much great discussion goes on here. I look forward to Gentoo.
