passando dalla release 1.4 alla 2.0 mi sono accorto che la 2.0 impiega un tempo decisamente maggiore a scaricare la posta... per me non è un grosso problema disponendo di connessione 24hsu24, ma mi piacerebbe capire se sbaglio qualcosa io o se è proprio un cambiamento dovuto ad un nuovo metodo di download  ciao

Ho notato anche io questo "rallentamento" e mi sono accorto che è imputabile appunto a spamassassin.
Non ho cercato una soluzione perché l'accoppiata evolution2-spamassassin è secondo me molto azzeccata, è da un pezzo che non devo + eliminare a mano posta indesiderata  |

Non solo... mi capitava spesso (avendo molti account) che il download parallelo dei messaggi mi dava errore (in maniera random). Inoltre spamassassin apprendeva molto lentamente cosa era spam e cosa no, spesso mi capitava di marcare un messaggio come spam e i messaggi che mi arrivavano dopo (uguali) venivano lasciati passare.

Anche a me ha dato degli errori (sporadici) nel tirare giu la posta, anche se molto probabilmente sono imputabili al pessimo stato in cui si trova il mio cavo di rete.
La questione spamassassin non mi ha mai dato problemi, anzi, ha "appreso" velocemente le email spazzatura e mi ha filtrato tutto correttamente.
Potrebbe essere una questione di flag attivati o versione, cmq il tutto è troppo vago, andrebbero fatti dei test mirati.
Se qualcuno ha un po di tempo...

perchè invece a me spamassassin lascia passare circa il 50% di monnezza? con bogofilter ero arrivato a un bel 97-98% di precisione.  |

andando a fondo ho scoperto che il mio non faceva learning perchè DB_File non era istallato
adesso c'è. vediamo se migliora ... |

e un modulino di perl. l'ebuild lo istalla solo se hai berkdb tra le USE flags, ma a quanto pare spamassassin non gradisce di non averlo
