Well, XMMS is a multimediapackage. But I am trying to install, rather upgrading it, and doing so from the commandline, so here goes:

This is the errormessage I get after five different servers have been queried and returned "no such file" or 404.
It wasn't ten minutes before the "emerge -uD world" I did a "emerge sync".
I tried to search the forums, but to no avail. Am I alone on this? |

i use this setting in /etc/make.conf and it works flawlessly

Thanks a lot. I added Your servers to my make.conf
This time it worked on my third server though, so I guess it is a matter of waiting for the servers around to be updated.
The extra adresses will not do any harm, so I will let them stay. |
