Hmm, AOL's kinda stingy about how things are routed. Some of my clients have run into problems with it. For compatibility's sake, I'd recommend hunting down a Linksys/Netgear/Dlink router of some sort that has AOL support on it. There's certain things that MUST be reported to AOL's servers (parental control type things) or otherwise nobody can use the connection.

tvs,

Yes it is certainly possible; (I use AOL at home with a series of networked PC's).

The only problem that I have found is that "to be guaranteed" an effortless connection you should use one of their reccomended routers (I use a thompson speedtouch 510 (4 ports) with a Belkin wireless connector in one of the ports for roaming and laptop connectivity.

Previously I used a BT 2000 wireless and a Zoom with mixed results.

The only other thing is that the account that you use to connect to AOL needs to be designated as 18+ (unrestricted).

I use AOL for historical reasons (originally starting out with compuserve) but do find it to be totally reliable.
