Does someone know of a good one? All I can find is KNetworkConf, which doesn't appear to work with kde3.4 (at least it doesn't show up in the control centre) |

You can edit the /etc/conf.d/net file really easily with nano.
All the info you need is in the installation instructions for Gentoo. _________________ eXklusve

Thanks, but I'm quite well aware of how to edit the file by hand. I'm just bored of doing it, and it would be nice if when my wireless connection went down I could click a button to reconnect rather than opening a console, su'ing and dhcp'ing.
It struck me as the kind of thing that would be so simple to implement that someone would surely have written something already. I'm seriously considering writing a little dock app myself to take care of it. I thought it would be a good idea to make sure it hadn't already been done first. |
